What benefits does a ten-sided hatbox have over a six-sided hatbox?
A round hatbox offers the best protection and is the most aesthetically pleasing shape, but round boxes don’t fold flat and therefore become a storage and distribution problem. Our ten-sided hatboxes are rounder and therefore utilise space better (15% less space), that an equivalent six-sided hatbox.
What are your boxes made from and how environmentally aware is Hatboxdesigns?
Our hatboxes are produced in recycled and recyclable cardboard. All production waste is also recycled. Our manufacturing centre has been awarded the Welsh Development Agency Green Dragon Environmental Standard for effective environmental management.
How accurate are the colour swatches in your brochure?
The colour swatches and photographs are to give an idea of the colours available, but due to printing reproduction they may not be a 100% representation of the colour.
What colour handles will be sent with my order?
Black & white, white or black, depending on what colour hatbox you order. Handles are included in the price quoted.
Do you ship overseas?
All deliveries for areas just off the British mainland will attract an overseas charge on top of the standard delivery rate. For all other overseas orders please contact our sales team for charges – telephone 01491 414000.
Do you offer a bespoke hatbox printing service for my company logo?

How long will my delivery take and how will it be delivered?
To ensure the safe delivery of your hatboxes we only use dedicated courier delivery services. If your order is received by 1pm, and provided this is a stock item, we aim to deliver your hatboxes within 2 to 3 working days of your order. If you think that you may not be available to take delivery of your boxes – please inform us at the time of ordering, of a suitable & safe location for our couriers i.e. a garage or another premises.

Can I collect my hatbox order?
No, unfortunately due to insurance restrictions we are unable to provide a collection service from our warehouse.
Do you offer free returns?
We will only offer free returns for faulty goods. All returns and exchanges must be notified within 7 days and authorised by Hatboxdesigns.
What is your returns policy?
If you require an exchange or refund the hatboxes must be returned to us in perfect condition in their original packaging. We cannot accept responsibility for returned hatboxes that are damaged or lost in transit. If you are returning your boxes via the
Post Office, we suggest you obtain ‘Certificate of Posting’ from the Post Office.
What is the best way to store my hat?
Make a simple support for storing your hats from a good quality acid free tissue paper. Mould the tissue into tubes and wads and use this to pad out and support the shape of the hat. Hats should not be stored resting solely on their brim, as this will
cause the crown to sink and become distorted over time.
